Deep Tissue Massage

60 minutes: $145
90 minutes: $185

Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body.

Deep Tissue Massage does not necessarily mean deep pressure is always used, depending on the body which this modality is being applied, some areas of the body may need more pressure where other deep muscles don't require as much. Communication is key during this service so keep in mind this will not be your typical quiet relaxing session.

Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

Myofascial Massage

60 minutes: $130

Myofascial massage is a technique used to treat injuries and discomfort, reducing pain and increasing range of motion. Myofascial massage differs from other types of massage in that it targets the fascia - the membrane surrounding muscles - rather than the muscle itself. Since fascia completely encases every muscle in the body, imbalances in the fascia can have serious effects on your range of motion and comfort level. While other forms of massage can overlook the fascia, myofascial massage focuses specifically on releasing tension in this important membrane.

Cupping Therapy

add on: $35

Enough can’t be said about the importance of circulation. Cupping lifts connective tissue and brings blood flow to stagnant skin and muscles. Cupping increases blood circulation to the area where the cups are placed. This may relieve muscle tension, which can improve overall blood flow and promote cell repair.   (Cupping is an add on treatment to your massage and does not change the length of session unless otherwise booked with your therapist.)

Chair Massage

Chair massage is a popular way of relieving stress and releasing tension at your event or workplace. You receive your massage in a specialized ergonomic chair which I bring to your location. In addition to the usual health benefits of massage, another benefit of chair massage is that it is done over the clothing. With seated massage, you can avoid the discomfort and awkwardness that you may feel in disrobing for a traditional massage. Also, chair massage sessions are usually shorter than traditional massage, making it convenient enough to fit into your busy schedule.
